Charlie met this outspoken, gregacious lady as one of the seven ladies in the walking group. She was looking for Charlie had a Christmas treat for him. Charlie
and her talked for awhile and she gave Charlie her treat. Charlie had as the lady as to how the walking group was formed. It seems that some of the staff at the
hospital had formed a walking group which had now grown to the staff and their friends over the year that it came into existance so she wanted to join the group too
as she was part of the staff. So Charlie and her went to a few events together. Charlie and her were just friends. She was fairly new in town so Charlie was helping
her get around and to be familiar with living in the area. She came from the east and she had 4 grown children still living there. She told Charlie that she did
not want to get into a relationship so do not get any ideas about that. Charlie agreed to those rules. She explained to Charlie about her aging mother and that she
may return to look after her at some point. Fair enough. Friend only it is!
Chick Magnet Number Two
One day at a event, she brought a friend along. Her name was Ruth. Charlie had a brief chat with her, but was summoned by a few of the other attendees to discuss
a few ideas of places to go and explore and maybe do some hiking in the mountains. Well, on the very next event held at a restaurant, his friend was already sitting
at a table that was full and Charlie saw Ruth sitting by herself at the table across from the one where most of the gang were sitting. So Charlie sits down beside
Ruth and to Charlie's surprise, Ruth wraps her arms around Charlie's arms. His companion notices this happening and leans forward across her table in disbelief as
she watches her friend make a big move on Charlie. Charlie and Ruth got to talk for awhile and get to know each. So Charlie and Ruth started to spend a bit more
time together. Ruth told Charlie that they were only going to be friends with no benefits. So Charlie had accepted the game rules with Ruth. The funniest thing
happened next when Charlie was his companion the next day, and she said to Charlie that he could have her instead of her best friend and now it was too late because
he was starting to see Ruth. Charlie said to car pool companion, but you told me that you did not want a relationship and I obeyed your rules. I guess when some
women see another women taking something that they already have, but did nothing to solidify the relationship, they get a rude awakening. Maybe it is because they
are not interested until they see someone else interested first. Jealousy perhaps? I had to laugh at how women can be. So Charlie and Ruth started down their own
path. They went out on a date finally to the movies. Back at her house Charlie was waiting for that moment where the first kiss comes into play. She started to
lean over and Charlie enjoyed the sweet kiss. She asked Charlie if he wanted more and Charlie was all over that offer with one more although Charlie would have spent
all night working on perfecting kisses he said. So Charlie met up with her a few times to go for walks and talks. Charlie said that she started to give him French
kisses and Charlie said to her. If we are friends, with no benefits do you not call these extra passionate kisses benefits? Ruth had 3 teenagers that she was still
raising and worked a variety of hours with part time jobs so it was really a hit and a miss as to whether Charlie would get some time with her. Charlie said
although she was nice, the relationship really lacked a lot of communication and poor Charlie felt that he was way down on the importance level. It seemed that her
dog rated a lot higher. Ruth was a smiley type of lady and Charlie sometimes wondered what was on the other side of that mask. Maybe it was a good thing that their
relationship was kind of an off and on again type. Eventually Ruth seemed to fade away and Charlie saw less and less of her. Again, Charlie told me that he was just
kicked to the side of the curb, but that was a good thing as he was free to enjoy other women's company. Charlie really did like Ruth, and was sad that the
relationship had really no were to go. She was a very independant lady and Charlie thought that he just amused her so she kept him around every now and then to enjoy
some laughs together.
