And then one day Charlie met a lady with high level of chemistry. The instant attraction was something that Charlie had not really came across to that level. They
hung around together for a bit, but it was clear that she did not have any romantic interest in Charlie. Charlie would be a friend to chat with. The attraction has to
be felt both ways or nothing will happen. That is the way life is, one person is attracted to another, but that person does not have the same feelings. It takes
takes both parties to have "the connection" or it is time to stop barking up a wrong tree and move on to the next. Such was the case with her and Charlie and she
told Charlie that he was barking up the wrong tree. I think some people cannot get past the idea of rejection which simply put is just the other person telling
you that "they" are not the right person for you. Knowing that, you can move on and find the right person for you and not get bent out of shape. Charlie and her did
get together for awhile, but it would not be a romantic kind of relationship, but a good friendship instead. They ended up being social media friends and exchanged
messages now and then ever since. Charlie was very familiar with rejection and not being the right person for the lady so he just moved on.
