Charlie's friends were back at it on another set up arrangement. This time they did not tell Charlie what was happening. A dinner was prepared and there was a knock
on the door. A lady appeared, a nice looking lady at that. Charlie watched the scene unfold and he was introduced to her. As the talking went on Charlie could tell
that not only was she pretty, she was pretty inside as well. She had a lovely personality to go with the outside shell. Charlie was thinking to himself that she
seemed too good to be true, but he wondered if this would really go anywhere. It takes two people on the same page to make it happen. What would come of it? The
dinner was superb and the visit that followed was very nice. There was a pleasant atmosphere in the house. Charlie did note that she gave both hosts pretty much all
of her attention. While she went down the hall to freshen up, the hosts said to make sure that Charlie asks for her phone number. Charlie felt a bit of pressure, but
he would follow through. Charlie left at the same time as the lady and proceeded to try and get some contact information. She did not give him a flat no, but in a
round about way she said no. Charlie was only trying to set up some time where they could go for coffee and perhaps a walk and a talk. So Charlie pretty much decided
not to pursue her further. Charlie was also busy helping me with the book and he was getting use to being single with his female nonromantic friends and thought it
best to leave it at that.
