Where do we go from here? Charlie found another lady on the dating website and she would meet for coffee as Charlie was meeting some friends near where she lived.
This seemed to be a possibility at last so they had their coffee date and it went very well so Charlie thought. The only thing that startled Charlie was that this
lady had been married four times already. It would be interesting to see what happened and this pretty lady would really attract any guy when you get down to it so
he could see why she had easily been married so many times. She seemed to have disappeared from the dating website and so Charlie did the same and oops, her phone
number was on one of the messages that he did not copy it down as Charlie figured that she was not really all that interested in him. And so the perfect lady slips
by the wayside. That was one thing with being Charlie's age now and the many partners that people this age will likely have had. It seems to be a numbers game and
how does one make things work with all the past loves in their potential partner's past? How do you deal with your past and give the potential partner a break should
they say or do something that might trigger you like some past ex might have done? Relationships seem to become a lot more complicated as you get older.
This was the question of the day as Charlie pondered the reasons why so many marriages. Maybe the death of a partner? Maybe a cheating partner? Maybe the couple
grew apart? Maybe they had different expectations that were not met? Maybe this lady was something else once you really got to know her so the guys wanted out of
their mistake? And maybe she just picked the wrong guys? Alcoholics? Gamblers? Abusive? Who knows?
