And now Charlie returned to the dating sites to see what might come his way. There were a few ladies that Charlie started to correspond with and he had a chance to
meet one of the ladies for a brief conversation in person as she was to walk her dog not too far from where Charlie would be. She was a friendly lady who talked to
everyone she met up with along the dog walking route that she was taking today. While Charlie said that they had a good conversation and he was able to pass along
some helpful information for her. Charlie knew that she would not likely go anywhere. There seemed to be some big differences in personalities and goals and perhaps
the chemistry was not as strong either. Charlie set out to see if she was interested in perhaps a second walk and there was no further response so Charlie crossed
that one off the small list that he had started.
Charlie met a teacher who lived in Edmonton and was retired like he was. With the same teaching background Charlie thought that was a good base to begin with. She had
some chemistry, but with only one profile photo, it was a bit hard to tell. Typically, it is good to post at least three photos so the potential partner can get a
better idea of what you really look like. Charlie was sending messages with her back and forth and then she was going to leave the dating site so Charlie sent her his
email address to keep sending messages. Then one day he got a strange email saying "can't" which made no sense at all. Charlie quickly related the "can't" to the
other lady he had met. Then Charlie was sent an expanded email message accusing Charlie of not responding to her. That message had made no sense and Charlie reviewed
the past messages and everything was in order. Was the teacher high on dope or drunk or who knows what. Charlie was shaking his head over this change of conversation
and he thought it was best to just let this one slide and move on to the next possibility.
Well, next on the list was a lady who loved to camp with her truck and trailer. They sat down for what turned out to be a three hour coffee at the local coffee shop.
Charlie did not think that there was much chemistry, but she was very interesting to talk to. That night Charlie thought that he would send her a message on the
dating and she was gone. Either Charlie got blocked or the lady left the building. Maybe Charlie was being compared to another guy and the other guy was successful
in becoming her new guy.
