From early days in Denver, Charlie knew this lady who lived in his neighborhood and he had chatted with her off and on for a few years and then lost touch. Then one
day when Charlie was in downtown Calgary, he heard this female voice call his name. Charlie turned around and to his surprise, he recognized her, but could not
remember her name. Here she was visiting relatives for two months and they exchanged phone numbers. She wanted to go out with Charlie so he could show her around and
she would pay her own way as she was an independent lady. So Charlie now had someone to go to a movie with or a dinner out. They enjoyed each other's company and
catching up with the old news of the years that had so quickly gone by. Charlie estimated that it was probably about 25 years ago that he last had seen her. It was
so interesting for Charlie to reconnect, but yes we wonder if there is a connection or not. Well, once the dust settled about catching up to where each of them was
in life and just spending some time together, it was clear that they would have no future together. Charlie said that it was nice to connect, but he said that there
would not likely be much in the way of future corresponding.
