One day Charlie met up with the chick magnet with one of her girlfriends. Her girlfriend came from Denver as well, so Charlie had a bit of an instant connection with
her. The three of them headed off to do a walk and talked about many things along the way. She had immigrated from Denver about a year ago so the chick magnet
wanted Charlie to show her around town. Charlie was a tour guide at heart and loved to enjoy the company and creating events of places to go. At the end of the walk,
Charlie and her girlfriend exchanged phone numbers and they planned to do their own walk down the trail together to share their stories of life in Denver.
Back to The Match Arrives
Well, as it turned out the lady changed her mind about going alone with Charlie. She figured that if she was alone with a guy, it was because they would be going out
together. She said that either she had the connection right off the hop or it wasn't there so Charlie knew that he wasn't going to be spending time with this lady.
Charlie gave her some leads as to where to go so she could walk with a group and meet new friends along the way. Charlie told me that she seemed to be a nice lady, but
did not know if it could turn into something more. Charlie was more interested in the conversation and enjoying some company, but this story just stopped at the
starting line. Seems some stories are never meant to be and that was the last that Charlie ever heard from her. It was no problem as Charlie was quite fine with or
without someone. Charlie was already making some big travel plans and said that I was out of the picture for what was coming down the pipe. Charlie needed some alone
time and I knew that he would be adding to the content of the project so I was smiling and wondering just what he had in mind. It was to be a U.S. National Park road
trip in August of 2022.
